1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CognityHire platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including candidates, employers, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

CognityHire provides a structured hiring evaluation platform that helps employers identify and assess candidates for critical roles. Services include job listings, candidate evaluation tools, AI-assisted technical interviews, AI voice-based candidate intake, and a pilot program for companies seeking structured hiring support.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts without prior written approval
  • Accounts are subject to approval before activation

4. Candidate Obligations

As a candidate, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile and applications
  • Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or skills
  • Not apply to roles for which you are clearly unqualified with intent to circumvent evaluation
  • Respect the confidentiality of any evaluation processes or assessment content

5. Employer Obligations

As an employer, you agree to:

  • Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities
  • Not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Use candidate data only for the stated purpose of evaluating candidates for the posted role
  • Not share candidate information with third parties without consent
  • Honour commitments made to candidates during the hiring process

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use CognityHire to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access the underlying systems
  • Transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the AI assistant or chat feature to extract confidential system information

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the CognityHire platform — including but not limited to evaluation frameworks, assessment methodologies, software, and design — are owned by CognityHire and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

8. AI Services

CognityHire uses artificial intelligence for candidate evaluation, technical interviews, and voice-based intake. By using these services, you acknowledge:

  • AI evaluations are tools to assist human decision-making, not replace it
  • Results may not be perfect and should be considered alongside other factors
  • You consent to your responses being processed by AI systems
  • Employers retain final hiring decisions

9. Limitation of Liability

CognityHire provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for hiring outcomes, employment decisions, or losses arising from use of the platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding three months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@cognityhire.in.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable Indian law.
