Cookie policy

This covers what we store in your browser — both on this website and during an interview session, which are different in kind and worth separating.

Last updated 28 July 2026

On this website

  • Strictly necessary storage that makes pages load, keeps you signed in where you have an account, and protects against abuse. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
  • Preference storage that remembers choices you make, such as display settings.

During an interview session

An assessment needs to keep its own state so that a dropped connection or a refreshed tab does not lose your progress. That state is tied to the session, is necessary for the assessment to function, and is cleared when the session and its retention period end.

Session integrity signals described in our privacy policy are part of the assessment record, not browser storage, and are governed by that policy rather than this one.

Controlling it

Your browser can block or clear stored data. Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop parts of the site and the assessment from working. Where we use anything beyond what is strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first and you can withdraw it at any time.

Changes

If we add analytics or other non-essential storage, we will update this policy and ask for consent before setting it.
